Amid the murders of civilians in Bucha, Ukraine needs three things above all: weapons, weapons, and more weapons, said Andrzej Duda, President of Poland.
Militarnyi reports about this with reference to the Twitter account of the President of Poland.
“Criminals must be called criminals, brought to justice, and sentenced. Pictures from Bucha disprove the belief that we have to seek a compromise at any cost. In fact, the Defenders of Ukraine need three things above all: weapons, weapons, and more weapons,” he noted.
Mateusz Morawiecki, Polish Prime Minister, has called on the European leaders to change their stance on the Russian regime and impose harsher sanctions.
“The Bucha massacre is more than a wake-up call for Europe and the world. It is a terrible cry for justice, freedom, and the right to life; for basic and universal values. The EU must confiscate all Russian assets in its Western banks, as well as the assets of Russian oligarchs. The EU must immediately sever all trade relations with Russia. European money must stop flowing to the Kremlin. One thing needs to be imposed on Putin’s criminal and increasingly totalitarian regime – effective sanctions,” Morawiecki said.
He also added that Ukraine should be getting more weapons to protect women and children in Mariupol, Bucha, and other places.
As reported earlier, British intelligence stated that putin’s invasion plans had always included the summary executions of civilians. Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom claimed he would make efforts to “starve” the Russian war machine.
