Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has deployed more than a hundred new samples of ammunition of various types to be used in the Defense Forces.

This was reported by the press service of the defense ministry.

This, in particular: mines, shells and cartridges.

Almost half of them were allowed to operate in the Ukrainian army from the beginning of 2024.

Among the samples that were codified and deployed by the Ministry of Defense, the vast majority are products of the Ukrainian defense industry.

In particular, these are ammunition for small arms, close combat equipment, mortar rounds, artillery shells of various calibers and purposes.

In addition, the Defense Department codified and deployed about 60 samples of ammunition for UAVs of various types, as well as fuzes for them.

It is noted that all of them are developed at domestic enterprises.

The Ministry of Defense said that the list included combined ammunition, high-explosive, HEAT-Frag and multi-purpose.

It should be noted that the codification and deployment of a sample of weapons and military equipment of Ukrainian production to operation allows the purchase of everything at the expense of the state budget.

Also, since the beginning of 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has deployed 60 samples of vehicles and more than 40 samples of drones and more than 20 ground robotic systems to operate in the Armed Forces.

In addition, the Defense Ministry contracted 40 Wolly robotic machine gun turrets manufactured by the Ukrainian company DevDroid. The order must be completed by July this year.
