Ukrainian aviation continues to methodically cut off the logistics arteries of Russian troops in all directions.
In Zaporizhzhia, a MiG-29 crew delivered a precision strike on a road bridge used by the enemy for the constant supply of equipment and ammunition, the Soniashnyk blog of the Ukrainian Air Force servicemen reports.
The operation used a GBU-62 guided aerial bomb, a munition that leaves the invaders no chance of ‘overnight repairs.’
The video shows the moment the bomb is dropped and hits the target, after which the bridge pillar is shattered by a direct hit.
The bridge has been critically damaged, which effectively cuts off Russian logistics on this section and forces the enemy to look for workarounds.
The elimination of such facilities makes it impossible to quickly redeploy artillery, armored vehicles and reserves, creating additional delays and losses for the invaders.
“Ukrainian Fulcrums continue to work on the enemy’s infrastructure in a systematic and rigorous manner, knocking out one support after another,” the blog noted.
They also added that the destruction of transport hubs in Zaporizhzhia is part of a strategy of attrition that reduces the combat capability of the occupation forces every day.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces recently used domestic Flamingo and Bars missiles, as well as the Liutyi UAV, to strike at Russian military targets in Zaporizhzhia.
