F-Drones has unveiled an updated version of the LITAVR+ interceptor drone, designed to take down jet-powered Shaheds, which flies at speeds exceeding 400 km/h
Stanislav Khutor, CEO of F-Drones, discussed this in an interview with LB.ua.
As the developers told Militarnyi, the LITAVR+ has the same form factor as the previous LITAVR version but features different motors and electronics that allow it to reach higher speeds.
The CEO of F-Drones notes that the motors, flight controllers, and LARAG software are all in-house developments.
The developer notes that the drone has its own navigation system that does not rely on GPS, as well as target-tracking capabilities (last mile or pixel lock).
“And, of course, remote control technology, which allows the pilot to operate the drone from virtually anywhere in the world,” the CEO of F-Drones added, detailing the UAV’s capabilities.
Stanislav Khutor confirmed that the LITAVR+ has successfully passed factory tests and is currently undergoing combat testing.
Footage provided by the company shows the successful destruction of an enemy Shahed jet.
According to data from the manufacturer, the previous version of the LITAVR UAV has the following specifications:
The drone is equipped with an optical system consisting of two cameras—a daytime camera and a thermal imaging camera—with the ability to switch between them directly in flight.
The product is available in two versions: an empty container for on-site loading with explosives, or with a pre-loaded warhead.
F-Drones demonstrated the updated version of its LITAVR interceptor drone for the first time on May 22, when auxiliary target identification systems and an automatic target destruction system were installed on the drone.
