Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, made it clear that the information about the weapons being sold to Russia is true.

This follows from his statement quoted by the Kayhan agency.

Salami said that the Iranian weapons were recently sold to a “world power,” and training was conducted for its representatives.

As previously reported, the US believes that Russia will deploy drones purchased from Iran in its war in Ukraine.

The equipment includes the Mohajer-6, Shahed-129, and Shahed-191 drones.

At least three flights of large cargo planes from Iran to Russia were spotted over recent weeks.

Russian operators were trained to use drones inside Iran in July 2022.
