Russian invaders have developed a traffic light that can warn of FPV drones.

This was reported by Serhii Flesh, a military expert in the field of radio technology.

The traffic lights are placed on poles near important routes of equipment movement.

The system demonstrates three functions: FPV-clear; FPV-near; FPV-far.

This allows the Russian invaders to be warned about the operation of FPV drones.

This traffic light probably works like an infantry detector, which has an analyzer of the operating frequency range designed to detect FPV drones in advance.

It is possible that the traffic light detector can also be operated manually by an operator who sets the desired light based on the situation.

The detector on the pole can also potentially have a sound analyzer that detects the operation of drones by the sound of their engine.

The sound analyzer will also help with the detection of drones that are controlled by fiber optics.

With an increasing number of different types of drones being used, the saturation of such detection equipment has become essential to increasing the capabilities of both sides of the war.

In Ukraine, in November, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine received the first patent for the technology for detecting enemy FPV drones, the Vitriak M.

The Defense Forces also actively use the Tsukorok drone detector. The device only “listens” and does not transmit anything, so it is invisible to enemy electronic intelligence.
