The Ukrainian company Inguar Defense has unveiled the concept of its new infantry fighting vehicle, the Inguar-7.
The defense company has not yet disclosed details, but noted that their previous successful projects also began with an initial illustration.
“Inguar-3 also started with nothing more than a rendering. It was an illustration. How about Inguar-7,” the concept post reads.
According to the published concept, the Inguar-7 is equipped with a combat module featuring an automatic cannon, likely 30mm in caliber.
It also includes a launcher with two guided anti-tank missiles designed to target heavy armored vehicles and mounted on the module.
The illustration shows a Ukrainian Stugna-P anti-tank missile system manufactured by Luch DB.
The turret appears to be fitted with a multi-channel thermal imaging sight protected by a shielding structure.
The rear of the turret is equipped with a smoke grenade launcher that creates aerosolized smoke screens.
The infantry fighting vehicle also has a squad compartment and extra body armor installed on both sides of the vehicle.
In fall of 2022, Inguar Defense introduced concepts of light tactical armored vehicles with 4×4 and 6×6 wheelbases.
And in March 2024, the company officially unveiled the new Inguar-3 armored combat vehicle.
Recently, it was reported that the National Guard AZOV Brigade has been armed with modernized Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicles BMP-1TS.
