A rare armored vehicle of the so-called “Wagner Private Military Company” was spotted in Ukraine.

This is stated in an article of the Defense Blog.

The footage, which was reportedly taken in the Donbass region of Ukraine, shows a damaged and abandoned armored personnel carrier called “Chekan”.

The Chekan, also known as the “Wagner`s wagon”, is an anti-mine-protected vehicle built on a Ural-432007-0111-31 chassis.

The main role of the armored vehicle is transportation of troops in the theaters of combat operations, where there are high risks of mines and IEDs.

These Wagner`s armored vehicles have been previously spotted and neutralized in Africa, particularly in Libya.

This vehicle is produced in Russia, and it received the Declaration of conformity of products to the requirements of technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union number TC N RU Д-RU.РА01.А.72635.

According to the publication of the “Novaya Gazeta,” the most important in the declaration is information about the manufacturer. This is Evro Polis LLC with an address in the Krasnogorsk, Moscow region.

“Evro Polis” LLC is a Russian company, which, according to an agreement concluded with the Syrian state structures in December 2016, pledged to conduct hostilities in Syria with Assad’s opponents in exchange for 25% of oil and gas production at liberated fields.

In fact, the fighting was conducted by the officially non-existing “Wagner PMC.”

The nominal owners of “Euro Polis” are closely associated with the structures of the Russian entrepreneur Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is known as “Putin’s cook.”
