In one of the settlements of the Kharkiv region, the servicemen found the abandoned invaders’ bodies.

Militarnyi informs about this with reference to the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The bodies were found during the clearing-up operation in the village of Vilkhivka, which is located 8 km East of Kharkiv.

Information about the “discovery” was shared by the soldiers of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Ivan Sirko.

Judging by the equipment of the dead, in particular the obsolete helmets, it is likely that the invaders, whose bodies the Russian military abandoned in the village, belonged to the so-called “LPR/DPR” units.

On February 19, the aggressor authorities announced the general mobilization in the territory of Ukraine, controlled by the Russian Federation.

An illegal “decree” also prohibited men between the ages of 18 and 55 from leaving the occupied territories.

On February 20, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, people started to be taken from the streets to be mobilized.

There are also reports that all those who did not want to join the ranks of illegal armed groups would be facing imprisonment.

Previously, on March 25, in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian forces defeated the Russian military in the occupied village of Vilkhivka and liberated the settlement.

On March 30, soldiers of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and volunteer detachments near Kharkiv destroyed two battalion tactical groups of the 138th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade and a combined battalion tactical group of the 59th Panzer Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces.

The Russian control point and all the documentation had been seized. Over 60 servicemen of these units surrendered.
