Ukraine has tested the Gnom ground platform, which is armed with anti-tank grenade launchers and a machine gun.

The TEMERLAND company said that the ground drone is intended to provide fire support to soldiers.

The drone is also equipped with a mine-dropping system. It is capable of installing anti-tank mines.

“It is not only a fire support platform but also a platform for dropping mines, transporting the wounded, and clearing anti-personnel mines,” the company shared.

The tests were conducted before the drone was sent to the front, where the military would evaluate it.

According to the developers, the Gnom’s ability to be remotely controlled will increase the degree of non-contact combat operations and, as a result, reduce casualties.

The drone weighs 88 kilograms and can reach a 5.5 km/h speed.

The payload is 40 kg, and the control range is up to 2000 meters.

“It can also be modified with four RPG-7s and the ability to install two TM-62 mines and one MON-90 mine on the ground,” the manufacturers report.

The MON-90 heavy anti-personnel mine weighs 12.1 kg, while the TM-62 anti-tank mine weighs up to 10 kg.

TEMERLAND also noted that their drones are capable of operating under the influence of electronic warfare.

In May, Ukraine tested the Solomandra robotic platform from TEMERLAND, which is supposed to help with demining.
