French company Elistair has developed a dedicated tethered power system for the Parrot ANAFI UKR drone.
By continuously supplying power through a thin cable from a ground station, the drone can remain airborne for hours without battery changes, the company told Militarnyi.
The solution is designed for military personnel, police, and rescue services that require prolonged, uninterrupted surveillance of an area.
It is suitable for patrolling the border, protecting critical infrastructure, monitoring public order at mass gatherings, and supporting emergency response operations.
The system can be fully deployed in the field in less than two minutes, without requiring complex preparatory work.
“With this new solution, we are enabling extended operations for a drone that is already trusted by our customers in the defense and security sectors,” Elistair CEO Guilhem de Marliave said.
Parrot representatives added that the integration expands the drone’s capabilities while preserving its reliability and protection against data interception.
Elistair equipment is currently used in more than 70 countries, where more than 2,000 such ground stations are in operation.
In June 2025, Parrot presented the ANAFI UKR reconnaissance quadcopter at the Paris Air Show. The drone was adapted to the requirements of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
The drone can conduct close-range aerial reconnaissance by day and night.
The developers state that the drone is highly resistant to electronic warfare interference and can operate in combat zones without GPS satellite navigation signals.
The stated maximum flight time of the ANAFI UKR with a standard battery is 38 minutes, and its range is 23 km.
