A fire broke out at an industrial facility in the Smolensk region as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones.
The region’s governor, Vasily Anokhin, reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, emergency responders who arrived at the scene have already contained the fire.
“Last night, the Smolensk region came under attack by Ukrainian UAVs. As a result, a fire broke out at one of the region’s industrial facilities,” Anokhin said.
The Russian governor did not disclose the name of the facility where the fire broke out.
On the night of July 3, according to Russian sources, 155 Ukrainian drones were allegedly shot down over Russian territory.
The day before, drones struck Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez – Russia’s fourth-largest oil refinery.
