Anduril Industries presented the EagleEye system.

This is a helmet that combines a mixed reality display, sensors, communication tools, and a built-in artificial intelligence module, Defensescoop reports. The development was shown at the AUSA 2025 exhibition in Washington.

According to the developers, this is not just a helmet, but a device with an onboard computing module.

The body contains a HUD (head-up display), spatial audio, sensors, radio interfaces, and an on-board computer that processes data in real time.

EagleEye displays a map, unit positions, UAV video streams, and decision recommendations using mixed reality (MR) technology.

The device was developed with partners: Meta (waveguide optics), Qualcomm (hardware platform), and Gentex (helmet integration), which resulted in a compact combat interface.

Anduril plans to deliver about 100 EagleEye prototypes to the US Army in the second quarter of 2026, a limited batch for field testing in selected units.

The prototypes will be integrated with existing Army IHPS (Integrated Head Protection System) helmets to evaluate ergonomics, display quality, communication stability, and resistance to radio interference.

The trials will also test the operation of AI modules, integration with the Lattice network, navigation accuracy, and impact on tactical decision-making.

“EagleEye is not just a helmet with a display, but a soldier’s command terminal: An MR device with on-board data processing, sensors, and C2 network integration that can change tactical awareness and control on the battlefield,” Anduril said.

Anduril Industries specializes in the development and production of advanced defense technologies, autonomous combat systems, as well as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence solutions.
