Defence24 Days: One of Europe’s Largest Security Conferences to Be Held in Poland

The largest security conference in Central and Eastern Europe, Defence24 Days, dedicated to current challenges in the defense sector and European security, will be held in Warsaw.

Organized by the Defence24 information portal, the conference will take place on May 6-7 at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

The event will serve as a platform for discussing regional security strategy, innovations in defense technologies, and the development of the military industry.

The conference will be attended by representatives of governments, high-ranking military officials, analysts, scientists, and experts from around the world. Over the course of two days, they will discuss ways to modernize armed forces, counter hybrid threats, strengthen cybersecurity, and bolster critical infrastructure.

A special focus will be placed on supporting innovation and deepening cooperation between the public and private sectors. Participants will explore how to ensure Europe’s technological leadership in the defense sector.

The event is expected to involve over 50 international delegations and several hundred representatives from the defense and security sectors. The conference’s main goal is to exchange experiences and create a shared vision of global and regional threats.

The speakers include military personnel who will participate in panels dedicated to the combat experience in Ukraine. They will share practical lessons learned directly from the front lines.

Ministers of Defense and Chiefs of Staff from several European countries, including Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Romania, as well as the U.S. Army Europe Command, are expected to attend.

• Lieutenant General (Ret.) Dariusz Łukowski — Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland
• General Wiesław Kukuła — Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces
• Maciej Kliś — Operational Commander of the branches of the Polish Armed Forces
• Ivan Anušić — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Croatia
• Dovilė Šakalienė — Minister of Defense of Lithuania
• Lieutenant general Karel Řehka — Chief of the General Staff of the Military of the Czech Republic
• General Gheorghiță Vlad — Chief of the Romanian General Staff
• Maj. Gen. Ollie Kingsbury — Commander of the V Corps of the U.S. Army

Top executives from leading global defense companies such as GE Aerospace, AIRBUS, Korea Aerospace Industries, Hanwha, L3Harris, Leonardo, thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, Pratt & Whitney, Rafael, MBDA, Raytheon, and WB Group will participate in the conference.
