The Croatian demining company DOK-ING has opened a representative office in Ukraine.
This was announced by Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, following a meeting with Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenkovic.
The company aims to help speed up the demining process by sharing experience and technology.
The private Croatian company DOK-ING was founded in 1992. Today, DOK-ING is considered the largest private demining company in Southeast Europe.
The company has two main divisions: production of equipment for mine detection and mine clearance.
DOK-ING produces electric vehicles, unmanned multipurpose vehicles, and robotic systems.
From the very beginning, DOK-ING has focused on the maximum possible use of mechanical means in demining operations.
The current model range of the manufacturer includes 2 demining vehicles: MV-4 and MV-10.
In Ukraine, both models of unmanned demining systems from DOK-ING have been used for demining for a long time.
Ukrainian company AZTECH-UKRAINE assembles and localizes Croatian DOK-ING MV-10 mechanized demining machines. In total, “A3Tech-UKRAINE” has the capacity to produce up to 60 MV-10 demining machines per year.
The DOK-ING MV-10 heavy demining machine is designed with a double working set: a chain mechanism and a cutter.
It is used to clear areas of various types of mines and explosive devices. The machine is controlled by one operator using a remote control. The maximum depth of soil clearance is 60 cm.
