Ukrainian soldiers received 18 mortars as part of the Zbroyenosci project from the Come Back Alive Foundation and the Lviv City Council.

This was the final weapons transfer within this project, according to a statement from the Foundation’s press service.

According to the published photos, the mortars were received by servicemen of the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel and the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

“This was our last distribution within the framework of the joint project with the Lviv City Council. A project that brought together hundreds and thousands of people with one goal — raising UAH 200 million to equip soldiers of four combat brigades of our army,” the Come Back Alive Foundation reported.

They also added that mortars, grenade launchers, pickups, drones, and EW systems are already with the Ukrainian defenders. They also expressed their gratitude to those who contributed to the fundraising efforts.

The Zbroyenosci project, which raised UAH 200 million, aimed to equip with weapons and other necessary supplies:

• 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel;
• 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade;
• 68th “Oleksa Dovbush” Jaeger Brigade;
• 128th Mountain Assault Brigade.

In the previous transfer, which took place in January of this year, Mk 19 automatic grenade launchers, pickups, EW systems, as well as DJI Mavic 3 and DJI Mavic 3T drones were sent to the front lines.

In March, the Come Back Alive Foundation handed over 150 FN Minimi light machine guns to Ukrainian defenders.

The brand-new machine guns reinforced 18 military units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. They were purchased with funds donated by concerned citizens and partners to the foundation’s general accounts.

The total cost of the delivered weapons, which have already proven their effectiveness in the fight against the invader, is UAH 103,120,200.

140 of these machine guns were purchased thanks to donations to the general accounts.

Another 10 FN Minimi machine guns, worth UAH 6,874,680, which were donated by the fund’s partner – Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine, Limited Liability Company, have reinforced the 118th Mechanized Brigade.
