The crew of a heavy bomber drone of the 412th Nemesis Separate Battalion of the Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed a 9А310М1-2 TELAR of the Buk-М1-2 SAM.
The battalion’s press service released the video.
It is reported that the destruction of the system had taken place in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
“Another enemy air defense system has been turned into scrap metal. Another “hole” in the Russian air defense, which significantly weakens their ability to withstand our air strikes,” the statement said.
The footage shows a bomber drone hovering over the 9A310M1-2 TELAR and dropping three rounds of ammunition on it: the first hit near the system, the second pierced the protective “grill,” and the third caused the anti-aircraft missiles to detonate.
It is also noticeable that one of the missiles had an engine failure after the munition hit.
In early December, Militarnyi reported that the operators of the 412th Nemesis Separate Battalion had destroyed a Russian Tor-M2 air defense system in the Zaporizhzhia region.
A 9A331M2 TELAR of the Russian Tor-M2 air defense system was detected on the temporarily occupied territory while driving at night.
The drone hit it on the move. The dropped munition hit the upper rotary part of the installation, where the anti-aircraft missiles and radar are located.
The previous Tor SAM was hit in the Donetsk region in the same way in mid-November.
