At the Russian military airfield in the Pskov region, two Ка-52 attack helicopters have been destroyed, and two more have suffered significant damage.

According to the DI, at the Veretye airbase, a powerful explosion occurred on the night of October 31.

It completely destroyed two Russian Ка-52 Alligator attack helicopters.

The reports say that two more aircraft are significantly damaged as well.

It is noted that the details on the destruction of the Russians equipment and personnel are being clarified at the moment.

According to the reports of the intelligence, för the purpose of eliminating the consequences of explosions, as well as “search for sabotage groups,” the personnel of the military unit were alarmed. Investigative actions are taking place in the Russian military unit.

According to the Russian media, the incident occurred late on Sunday, October 30. There were three explosions, as a result of which two Ка-52 helicopters were damaged. They belonged to the 2nd squadron of the 17th Army Aviation Brigade of the Western Military District of the Russian Federation.

Russian unnamed media sources say that the helicopters had damaged the skin.

It is also claimed that these Ка-52 were allegedly not in flight condition and were under scheduled repair in a technical and operational unit. The reasons for the explosions were not reported by the Russians.
