Strategic aviation aircraft have been spotted at the Ramenskoye airfield in the Moscow region of Russia.

This was reported by the analytical channel AviVector, citing satellite images from March 15.

These include three Tu-160s, one Tu-95MS, and one Tu-22M3.

These aircraft carry cruise missiles, which Russia is using to strike Ukraine.

Separately, the construction of new hangars has been observed on the airfield grounds.

Work is underway in the central part of the facility.

Estimates indicate that the structures measure approximately 110 by 77 meters.

These dimensions allow for the accommodation of strategic aircraft inside.

Temporary infrastructure has been set up near the construction site to support the work.

The new hangars are likely to be used for aircraft maintenance or shelter.

Meanwhile, between March 18 and 19, one of the Tu-160s left the airfield or was moved to the maintenance area.

This may indicate a rotation of aircraft or preparation of equipment for future use.
