Snipers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shown how to eliminate Russians using the Ukrainian ARCHER TSA-7 sight.

The National Association of Defense Industry of Ukraine (NAUDI) published a video of the combat work of Ukrainian snipers.

The sight allowed them to see and hit targets in the forest and built-up areas in the dark.

The ARCHER TSA-7 is equipped with a laser rangefinder, which allows it to accurately determine the distance to the target, even at long distances.

The built-in ballistic calculator considers atmospheric conditions, target angle, Coriolis force, and powder temperature, which significantly increases shooting accuracy.

The system automatically memorizes shooting parameters for different types of ammunition, ensuring maximum combat efficiency.

The Ukrainian manufacturer Thermal Vision Technologies claims that the ARCHER TSA-7 can detect a target at a distance of 2200 meters.

In addition to sniper rifles, the Ukrainian ARCHER sight is also installed on machine guns, which allows the gunner to control the situation in the dark.

Sniping in Ukraine is developing very rapidly. Ukraine produces its own sniper rifles and sights. Currently, the brigades have sniper platoons consisting of four squads, each of which is an independent tactical unit capable of conducting autonomous combat operations.

Each squad consists of six fighters conditionally divided into their combat functions: a sniper pair (squad commander – sniper and sniper – second in command) and a security group (machine gunner, rifleman, signalman, and driver).

Last year, a Ukrainian sniper managed to eliminate a Russian soldier at a distance of 2069 meters. This distance became a record for a sniper and a record for Ukraine in terms of the range of eliminating an enemy in the .338 Lapua Magnum caliber.

Snipers also sometimes manage to shoot down Russian drones. In March, a Ukrainian sniper shot down a Russian drone in the Kharkiv region using a 308-caliber rifle.
