In Pokrovsk, units of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, together with the 4th Special Operations Forces ‘Rangers’ Regiment, destroyed a network of enemy drone launch sites used to attack Ukrainian positions and logistics routes.

Video footage of the combat operation was released by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the joint operation, the Defense Forces struck six positions from which Russian troops were launching vertical takeoff and landing unmanned aerial vehicles.

The targets were identified during an analysis of enemy actions and an examination of the flight paths of Russian drones, which were used for reconnaissance and to strike Ukrainian units.

Among the destroyed sites were a building near a city café, a children’s goods store, a library building, and a destroyed house in a residential area of Pokrovsk.

According to the Ukrainian military, the enemy used these locations as hidden sites for preparing and conducting combat flights of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Russian operators paid particular attention to attacks on logistics routes, attempting to disrupt supply lines, the evacuation of the wounded, and the movement of Ukrainian forces in the area around the city.

Direct strikes on targets were carried out by attack drones of the aircraft type, which precisely targeted identified enemy positions.

The published footage demonstrates the systematic destruction of facilities used by the occupiers to house crews and prepare unmanned systems for launch.

Combating enemy UAV crews and their infrastructure remains one of the key elements in countering Russian superiority in the use of drones in certain sectors of the front.

“Destroying launch sites not only reduces the number of enemy combat sorties but also disrupts the well-established command and support system for drone units,” the Air Assault Forces note.
