Russian invaders on tanks unsuccessfully attempted to attack the positions of the 14th Mechanized Brigade in the Kupiansk sector.
The 14th Mechanized Brigade said they had neutralized three Russian tanks.
“Enemy tanks – minus three! Beautiful and clear. This is the only way the Ukrainian soldiers work,” the Brigade said.
Ukrainian troops were constantly watching the movement of Russian tanks and then hit the armored vehicles.
The soldiers also managed to destroy a Russian 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer.
Ukrainian volunteer Serhiy Sternenko said that the self-propelled howitzer was destroyed by an FPV drone, which he handed over to the brigade.
“The soldiers of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, to whom we have recently handed over FPVs, already destroyed a Russian Gvozdika howitzer with them,” Sternenko said.
The invaders’ 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer caught fire after being hit, then the ammunition detonated and the vehicle exploded.
Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces, stated that in the Kupiansk sector, Russians are engaging former militants of the Wagner PMC in assaults.
“In the Kupyansk sector, units formed from former prisoners of the Storm, Storm Z, and Storm V [units] are used to attack Ukrainian positions. The presence of former so-called “wagners” [Wagner PMC mercenaries], who are also involved in the assaults, has been recorded. Russian invaders have no success in this sector,” said Syrskyi.
According to Syrsky, the fighting continues near Ivanivka and Synkivka in the Kharkiv region.
On the morning of November 27, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Defense Forces in the Kupiansk sector repelled seven Russian attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske, Luhansk region.
