The Come Back Alive Foundation handed over three SHARK unmanned aircraft systems to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The press service of the Foundation reported this in its social media.

The transferred reconnaissance drones were purchased by the Foundation as part of the “EYE FOR THE EYE” charity project.

Now, the systems will help performing combat tasks as part of aerial reconnaissance of one of the artillery brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and special forces of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Each of the three transferred intelligence systems consists of:

  • two drones;
  • a launcher;
  • a specially designed all-wheel drive minibus with an integrated control system.

In general, within the framework of the “EYE FOR THE EYE” project, the Fund collected UAH 325 million for 25 unmanned reconnaissance systems.

According to intelligence officers, these drones will adjust fire and locate targets, in particular, for the HIMARS MRL. This UAV from the Ukrainian manufacturer performed well in combat conditions.

The first system donated by philanthropists has been working on the front lines since the spring, and in the past few weeks alone, has helped destroy enemy equipment at a total cost of nearly $25 million.

Shark UAV

Shark unmanned aerial system is the development of the Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems. The drone is equipped with a highly reliable communication module and a modern optical system, which allows it to delve into the rear of the enemy up to 60 km and conduct surveillance at a distance of up to 5 km from the UAV to the object.

The UAV’s optical station can transmit video in Full HD quality, is equipped with an electro-optical sensor with 30x optical magnification and additional digital zoom, and can automatically track targets even at an object speed of 100 km/h.

SHARK has up to 4 hr average endurance, an operating temperature between -15 °C and + 50 °C, and a maximum flight speed of up to 150 km/h.
