Satellite images showcased the destroyed Russian base near Dzhankoi

Satellite images have emerged of the aftermath of yesterday’s expolosions in occupied Crimea.

The photos showcased what remained after the detonation at a Russian ammunition depot in the village of Mayske, Dzhankoi district.

The journalist of the Schemes project, Kirill Ovsyaniy, published the first satellite images of a military base.

On the morning of August 16, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, explosions occurred at an ammunition depot near Dzhankoi.

The photo of August 15 shows that the territory of the Russian military unit is filled with objects that can be military equipment or places of ammunition storage.

In the picture dated August 16, it was recorded that all objects on the territory of the base in the village of Mayske were destroyed or even completely absent. Smoke can still be seen rising above the depot.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that the morning explosions near Dzhankoi allegedly occurred as a result of sabotage actions.

Also, a video appeared on the web of the area of the Azovska Railway Station where the explosions occurred.

There was Russian military equipment, in particular Grad MLRS and boxes with various ammunition. The date of this video is unknown.

At this railway station, weapons and ammunition were loaded on echelons to provide Russian troops in Ukraine.

Subsequently, the New York Times, citing a senior Ukrainian official, wrote that an “elite Ukrainian unit” was involved in the explosions near Dzhankoi.

Also, a number of Ukrainian politicians hinted at Ukraine’s involvement in the destruction of the enemy arsenal.
