Three units of Russian invaders’ equipment were destroyed overnight in temporarily occupied Enerhodar.
The vehicles were parked near the SU ZNPP hotel where the occupiers lived.
This was announced by the Mayor of Enerhodar Dmytro Orlov. A video of the incident was also published on social media.
According to Orlov, three Russian military vehicles blocking the entrance to the hotel burned down.
“On the night of July 30, Enerhodar was very hot, literally. In the First microdistrict, right in front of the SU ZNPP hotel several explosions took place. That caused a fire. It was extinguished with special rescue equipment,” the Mayor wrote.
There were no injuries among civilians, but houses nearby got their windows shattered.
“There is a lot of speculation around this story. By the morning it gained various, sometimes fantastical details. Therefore, we trust only the official sources of information and wait for verified and feasible details about the night fireworks,” said Dmytro Orlov.
Enerhodar was captured by the Russian military on March 4. The Russians “appointed” the occupying self-proclaimed administration in the city.
On July 22, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed equipment and struck the enemy tent camp in Enerhodar, near the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
The Ukrainian military used kamikaze drones. The results of the work were spotted from a drone.
A video published by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, captured the moment of the explosion and Russian military scattering from the tents.
The Ukrainian military also managed to destroy enemy equipment. They reported damage to vehicles with anti-aircraft guns and BM-21 Grad.
