The Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a paratrooper unit of the Russian invasion forces.

The Command of Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the destruction of the invaders.

Lviv paratroopers neutralized a platoon of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment of the RF Armed Forces from the Pskov region of Russia.

Ukrainian servicemen reported that due to the coordinated work of the artillery units of 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, the Russian invaders were eliminated in one of the areas of defense.

A platoon of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Guards Air Assault Division of the Airborne Forces of Russian Federation was neutralized.

“About twenty killed Russian occupiers and several destroyed advancing armored vehicles were reported by the commander of the artillery unit of 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade,” the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces Command announced.

The report notes that this Russian military unit has been opposing Lviv paratroopers repeatedly since 2014, and has suffered significant losses from the defenders of Ukraine.

During the firing of Ukrainian artillery, several units of Russian BMD-2 armored vehicles were destroyed or severely damaged.

Up to twenty invaders were reportedly killed.

Previously, Lviv paratroopers destroyed eight units of enemy equipment.

Lviv forces that striked the enemy included the crew of the Ukrainian-made “Stugna-P” anti-tank missile system.

The paratroopers destroyed three tanks, three BMPs, and two amphibious infantry fighting vehicles.
