The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration has donated the necessary equipment to a UAV unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was announced by Mykola Kolesnyk, head of the “Luftwaffe” Aerial Reconnaissance Unit.

The transfer of the relevant equipment for the aerial reconnaissance unit became possible thanks to the help of the team of the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

The new equipment has provided the unit with the ability to equip the new combat staff of the 422nd “Luftwaffe” Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems.

Among the equipment transferred were: Starlink, Ecoflow, antenna systems, control systems, etc.

According to Mykola Kolesnyk, this is the equipment the unit needs on the front line.

“We will pay for it with destroyed enemy manpower and destroyed enemy equipment,” he added.

The aerial reconnaissance unit of the 422nd Separate Battalion Unmanned Systems is under the command of the 129th Territorial Defense Brigade.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that the 22nd Mechanized Brigade had received a comprehensive assistance from philanthropists, including dozens of Synytsia electronic warfare systems.

The cost of the transferred equipment amounted to more than UAH 30 million.

The military received, among other things, reconnaissance and defense equipment against enemy drones, as well as radio stations.

Due to the contribution of NPC Ukrenergo, the specialists of the Come Back Alive Foundation managed to quickly purchase and deliver the equipment to the Ukrainian defenders:

• 83 sets of Synytsia electronic warfare systems
• 100 thermal imaging and 50 night vision monoculars;
• 30 Mavic 3 quadcopters with thermal imaging and 30 with daytime optics;
• 70 Motorola radio stations;
• 34 laptops;
• 200 remote antennas.
