The invaders fired various weapons at the border areas of the Sumy region. Small arms, mortars, artillery, and jet artillery were used.

Residents of Yunakivka, Bilopilska, Hlukhivska, Velykopysarivska, Khotyn, and Shalahanska communities were hit.

One man was killed when ammunition was dropped from an enemy drone.

Resulting of the shelling, the infrastructure of the Sumy and Konotop districts villages was damaged. The affected objects included residential buildings, the Atynskyy Psychoneurological care home, a water tower, power grids, and a local farm. Also, the animals were injured.

A police car exploded after hitting an enemy mine in the Okhtyrka district, injuring five people and killing one.

During the night, Russians had fired mortars at border guards near the village of Hremiach in the Chernihiv region. No casualties were reported.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes that in the Siversky direction, the enemy is holding up to three battalion tactical groups from the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District and airborne units. They are located in the Kursk and Bryansk regions.

It was also noted that the invaders are improving their defensive positions nearby the settlement of Tyotkino, Kursk region.
