Ukrainian company Vyriy Drone has developed a new FPV drone, the MAX 15, designed to destroy Russian fortifications and rear-area infrastructure.
According to the National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries (NAUDI), the MAX 15 demonstrated high efficiency during testing.
It is the largest drone in the VYRIY line: a 15-inch FPV platform capable of carrying a payload of up to 8 kg over a distance of up to 30 km.
“Under favorable conditions, it can cover up to 50 km — depending on the type of ammunition, battery, and the presence of a repeater,” NAUDI said.
With a three-stage warhead initiation system and high strike accuracy, the MAX 15 performs tasks beyond the capabilities of smaller-class drones.
The drone is intended for engaging priority targets, where long range, high strike power, and reliability are required.
The MAX 15 has been codified by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense and passed combat testing without requiring changes to its design.
“The warhead initiation system has three levels of protection and has earned the trust of crews thanks to its reliable performance and user-friendly design,” the developers said.
VYRIY, part of the “Militarnyi Alliance,” produced its first thousand fully Ukrainian-made FPV drones back in March.
The company can assemble drones entirely from Ukrainian-made components, including cameras and electronics.

To achieve this, Vyriy localized the production of frames, initiation boards, flight controllers, and radio control systems.
Other components, such as video transmitters and cameras, are supplied by Ukrainian firms D1 and Odd Systems.
