The Come Back Alive Foundation has delivered Vampire and Queen of Hornets drones to the fighters of the Luhansk operational and tactical group.
This was reported on the Foundation’s social media.
The transfer of this large batch of aid was made possible by a contribution from Ukrnafta.
The military received a total of 15 Vampire UAVs and 126 reusable large Queen of Hornets FPV drones with ground control stations made in Ukraine.
The fighters of the Luhansk Brigade are defending our freedom from Ukrainian New York to Serebryansk Forestry.
Ukrnafta’s contribution to this purchase and transfer of drones is UAH 22,470,000.
“And all this deadly beauty will be used at the front soon,” the Foundation emphasized.
“Come Back Alive” shared that the ‘Queen of Hornets’ is a large, multi-purpose FPV drone that can act as a bomber, kamikaze, repeater, mine-clearing device, and even carry other drones, thereby increasing its range of use.
The Ukrainian military even equips such drones with Kalashnikov rifles, such as the AK-74. They are used to clear enemy infantry.
The Vampire hexacopter is a large bomber that can hunt invaders at night by using a thermal imager to identify and dismantle enemy positions, engineering barriers, and equipment. It can carry up to 15 kg of payload in the form of various types of ammunition for dropping: thermobaric, cumulative, and high-explosive.
One of the advantages of the Vampire is its ease of operation. The developers claim that their instructors can train operators from scratch in just 3 hours.
Last month, the Come Back Alive military assistance foundation delivered 150 FN Minimi handguns to the Ukrainian defense forces. The new weapons were delivered to 18 military units of the Defense Forces. They were purchased at the expense of funds transferred to the foundation’s general accounts by concerned citizens and partners.
