USA Launches Dozens of Tomahawk Cruise Missiles at Iran

The USA has joined Israel’s military operation, dubbed Roar of the Lion, by launching a series of strikes on targets in Iran.

Footage published by Clash Report shows dozens of cruise missiles, presumably Tomahawks, flying overhead.

An American official confirmed that the attacks were a joint operation with the US. The purpose of this presence is said to be to put pressure on Iran to reach a new agreement on its nuclear program.

According to Al Jazeera, explosions were recorded in Tehran in the University Street area, the Jomhuri district, and in the northern part of the Iranian capital, Seyyed Khandan.

According to Wral News, one of the strikes hit near the offices of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Pillars of smoke are rising above various areas of the city, as confirmed by eyewitnesses and Iranian media outlets.

Israeli forces struck the Ministry of Intelligence in the Iranian capital. According to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, the operation’s goal is to eliminate immediate threats to national security.
