Ukrainian troops destroyed the T-90A and T-72B tanks of the invaders in the Luhansk region near Novoyehorivka.

The military used FPV drones equipped with high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds to destroy the T-90A and T-72B tanks.

“As always, the UAV strike company demonstrates impressive courage and professionalism. Our heroes managed to neutralize two enemy tanks and damage another,” the Brigade reported.

Ilya Yevlash, Head of the Press Service of the Eastern Group of Forces, said that the Russian military is trying to break through the Ukrainian defense in the Lyman-Kupiansk sector, especially in the area of Novoyehorivka.

He noted that over the last day, five combat engagements took place in the Lyman-Kupiansk sector. The invaders’ attempts were unsuccessful.

“The enemy has focused its attention in the direction of Novoyehorivka. Russians wish to break through a corridor in our defense in this direction, as the dominant heights are located near Novoyehorivka,” the spokesman explained.

According to him, the enemy will try to “wedge” to advance to the Oskil River. While the enemy’s attacks are unsuccessful, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the enemy’s assaults.

“Yesterday, our defenders managed to destroy 126 invaders in the Lyman-Kupiansk sector and destroyed one field ammunition depot, one vehicle, and seven drones, six of which were Lancet unmanned aerial vehicles” Yevlash added.

Recently, an FPV drone destroyed the Russian TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system in the Luhansk region.
