Ukrainian benefactors handed over to three military detachments Leleka-100 unmanned systems of the new configuration.
The Come Back Alive Foundation said that each system costs 1,440,000 hryvnias.
Each system is in the best production configuration for the past year, with two aircraft with an elongated wing, a ground station, sets of spares (“spare parts, tools, accessories”) and crew training.
“Stealthy for enemy means of detection, scouts and corrects fire to a depth of 50 km from the front line,” the benefactors said.
The Leleka-100 UAVs received:
These three systems already operate effectively in the war zone.
“Thanks to the 95th Brigade’s aerial reconnaissance with a brand new Leleka UAV several times covered the enemy concentration areas in the Luhansk region. And the 128th Brigade in the Zaporizhzhya direction cleverly adjusted the fire of our artillery on several electronic warfare systems, one radar and Grad MLRS,” philanthropists said about the operations of the UAVs.
Modern warfare relies heavily on the speed of enemy detection and strike.
And if Western artillery partners are actively helping Ukraine with artillery, then intelligence – UAVs – is not so simple.
“They need a lot of them, they are bought for a long time, produced and quickly lost,” said Taras Chmut, director of the Come Back Alive Foundation.
Last year, Come Back Alive Foundation bought 11 PD-2, 25 SHARK, 26 Leleka UAVs, and a dozen other requests for “Furies” and others.
Benefactors in Ukraine collected more than UAH 31 million for equipment for pilots of army aviation.
