Ukrainian communications systems developer Himera has attracted investment from the Nezlamni Foundation.

The company shared with Militarnyi that the funds would be used to develop its product line and scale up production.

The exact amount of the investment from Nezlamni was not disclosed.

“The investment falls within the framework of the fund’s standard check – from $100,000 to $400,000,” the company reported.

In general, the funds will be used to scale up the production of HIMERA G1 Pro systems, develop the product line and enter new markets.

“We’ve been in touch with the Nezlamni team for a long time. When we opened this investment round, they were among the first to confirm their participation. We are going through very key stages of our company’s development, and we are glad to have such partners,” said Misha Rudominsky, co-founder of Himera.

The features of the HIMERA G1 Pro radio include pseudo-random frequency hopping, AES-256 encryption, voice and data transmission, an easy-to-configure Mobile Ad-hoc Network, an extended communication range and a completely new design.

A simple interface and integration with Android mobile devices greatly simplify setup. That is, HIMERA can be configured via Bluetooth on a smartphone without learning specialized programs.

“These and other features of the HIMERA G1 Pro allow it to effectively meet the communication needs of the army,” the developers said.

In general, the new version has corrected the shortcomings of its predecessor based on user feedback.

“Himera is an example of a really cool Ukrainian defense-tech startup that combines two key features: its own powerful software and security systems, as well as large and scalable production,” Dmytro Dubrovsky, co-founder of the Nezlamni Foundation, summarized.

In September, the first tests of the new Himera G1 Pro L radio were conducted in Ukraine with the military’s participation.
