A drone of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hits a Russian ground drone in the east.
Soldiers of the Bulava company of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians were operating.
The Bulava company published a video on its social media.
To destroy the Russian tracked unmanned combat ground vehicle, the Ukrainian defense used an FPV drone.
Russian invaders could have used this drone for logistical support, in particular, to transport ammunition and other goods to their positions.
According to the video, the drone was moving along the street of the village destroyed by Russian invaders when it was spotted by Ukrainian defenders. After that, a FPV drone under the control of an operator of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine flew to destroy it.
As a result of the explosion after being hit, the ground drone overturned. It is likely that it sustained other damage that put it out of commission.
This is not the first time that Russian unmanned combat ground vehicles have been destroyed during hostilities.
In March, Ukrainian operators of FPV kamikaze drones hit two Russian ground drones in the Donetsk region.
The Russian ground platform was destroyed by soldiers of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As previously reported, soldiers of the 47th Mechanized Brigade showed a video of them destroying Russian unmanned combat ground vehicles in the Avdiivka sector.
Also in December, an operator of the drone of the 110th Mechanized Brigade used an FPV drone to hit a Russian unmanned ground vehicle as it was moving along the road towards the Russian positions in the Avdiivka industrial area.
