Members of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council (UAC) and the Save Ukraine! Charitable Organization have transferred 20 vehicles to the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported on the organization’s website.

These are the first of 150 vehicles planned for transfer to the Ukrainian defense forces. They will serve as a crucial resource for frontline units, enabling the evacuation of the wounded, transportation of ammunition, and other essential tasks.

The vehicles have enhanced cross-country capabilities and can operate in challenging off-road conditions.

To date, the UAC and Save Ukraine! have transferred 2,362 vehicles, mostly pickup trucks, to the frontlines. These vehicles are vital for mobility on the front line.

Andriy Dykun, Chairman of the UAC, stressed that the agricultural sector has been a reliable pillar of the country’s defense since the beginning of the invasion. Despite shelling, crop losses, and economic difficulties, farmers continue to support the military.

“Today, our defenders face the toughest challenges. Therefore, businesses, farmers, and every citizen must support the army. We are doing this systematically and will continue as long as the war persists,” he said.

Anatoliy Artemenko, UAC member from the Odessa region, noted that the initiative to provide 150 vehicles to the Airborne Assault Forces is both ambitious and realistic.

“When there is transport, there is mobility, and that’s an advantage in battle. This is not just about transporting fighters or ammunition; it’s also about quickly evacuating the wounded, which can save dozens of lives,” said one of the paratroopers.

The agrarians continue to gather resources and prepare the next batches of vehicles to support the Airborne Assault Forces. They call on those who care to join the collection effort announced in February.

Last month, British volunteers, as part of the Pickups for Peace charity campaign, donated 35 pickups to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
