One of the largest Russian military training grounds was damaged as a result of the attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on December 22 in the Rostov region.

The ASTRA project reported on this.

According to the project, a combined attack was carried out on the morning of that day in the Rostov region.

At least four drones hit the territory of the Kadamovskiy military training ground in the village of Persianovsky.

It is known that Kadamovskiy is subordinated to the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation and has been expanding since 2016, including through the development of residential infrastructure.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the ammunition warehouse of the training ground and detonation began. There is no information on casualties among Russian servicemen.

Also, one of the garrisons of the 150th Guards Motor Rifle Division, formed in 2016, is deployed on the territory of the training ground, namely: the division command, 68th and 163rd Tank Regiments, 102nd Motorized Rifle Regiment , 174th Reconnaissance Battalion, 258th Communications Battalion, 152nd Logistics Battalion and 195th Medical Battalion.

Other units of the division are deployed in Millerovo, Kuzminka and Rostov.

In addition, according to ASTRA’s sources in the emergency services of the Rostov region, a missile was shot down over the military airfield in Millerovo. Preliminary, no damage or casualties were reported.

Attacks on the Rostov region

On December 20, Militarnyi reported that a missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine had hit the buildings of the Russian enterprise Kamensky Combine in the Rostov region.

This enterprise is engaged in the production of solid rocket fuel, in particular for rockets and ballistic missiles.

The analysts from the CyberBoroshno group released a satellite image showing that two buildings at the company’s production site were critically damaged. It is not yet known what function they performed.

The analysts also noted that many other buildings at the plant had been protected by nets, presumably from drone strikes.
