Ukrainian Defense Forces hit three command centers of the Russian invaders with missiles.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this.
“Recently, the command centers of the 35th and 27th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigades, as well as one of the command centers of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces, were successfully struck. The results of the strikes are being clarified,” the ministry said.
The strikes were carried out by units of the Air Force and the Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces. The strikes were carried out with Storm Shadow missiles and GMLRS rockets.
The British Sky News, citing Ukrainian security sources, published a drone video showing these strikes.
The source shared the drone footage that purportedly shows the strikes on what he described as “two command centers of the massive troops formations slowly advancing on Pokrovsk”.
The attack took place at 11 a.m. on Friday in the town of Avdiivka, the Donetsk region.
An OSINTer @moklasen has determined that the video shows the strikes on the territory of the Avdiivka reinforced concrete plant.
As previously reported, in September, 2024, the Ukrainian Air Force used American GBU-39 bombs in the Kharkiv region to hit a Russian depot and command center.
The aircraft used three GBU-39 precision-guided bombs. They hit the Russian positions in the village of Nova Tarasivka in the Kharkiv region.
A video of these bombs in action was posted on the Soniashnyk (Sunflower) Telegram channel, which is affiliated with Ukrainian aviation.
The village is reportedly occupied by the 15th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces.
