The units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three Giatsint-B guns in the Lyman sector.
The photos of the destroyed Russian artillery systems were published online by the serviceman Kriegsforscher.
The destruction of the Russian artillery systems was carried out in cooperation between drone units and artillery units.
In total, three guns were destroyed. As noted by the photo’s author, the Russians tried to show that the targets were not hit by demonstrating their combat readiness with freshly placed branches, but this did not correspond to reality.
The Giatsint-B guns have a maximum firing range of up to 30 kilometers, making them difficult to target with some weapons.
According to calculations by the OSINT project Oryx, during the full-scale Russo-Ukrainian war, over 60 2A36 Giatsint-B guns have been recorded as lost or damaged.
Militarnyi previously reported that the Luhansk Border Detachment had destroyed three Russian 2A36 Giatsint-B guns in the Kupiansk sector. The strikes involved fiber-optic-controlled FPV drones of the Phoenix drones company of the Pomsta (‘Revenge’ – Ed.) Brigade.
