The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the oil terminal of the Russian Port Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Krai.
The General Staff reported that the strike on the night of May 31 had been carried out by Neptune cruise missiles.
This is another result of coordinated actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
“The strike group of the Ukrainian Navy hit the ferry crossing and the oil terminal of the Port Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
The military noted that this had happened at the beginning of the day on May 31 – the next night after the Defense Forces had disabled the ferries of the Kerch ferry crossing in the territory of the occupied Ukrainian Crimea, which had run to the Port Kavkaz and had been used for military logistics of the aggressor state.
The General Staff reported that several Ukrainian-made Neptune missiles from the coastal missile launcher had struck the oil terminal near the Port Kavkaz.
“The results of live recording confirm explosions at aiming points. The accuracy of the destruction of targets is under final reconnaissance,” the report said.
The integrated operation was carried out in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
It is also reported that attack UAVs of the Defense Forces had hit another oil depot in the Krasnodar Krai.
As previously reported, on the night of May 30, the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully hit the Russian ferry crossing in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The strike was carried out with ATACMS ballistic missiles.
As a result of the strike, two ferries that carried out rail and road transportation suffered significant damage.
