The Defense Procurement Agency has signed long-term contracts with Ukrainian manufacturers of cruise and ballistic missiles.
Arsen Zhumadilov, director of the Defense Procurement Agency, announced this in an interview with Militarnyi.
“We have signed long-term contracts for Ukrainian-made cruise and ballistic missiles, ranging from 12 months to more,” Arsen Zhumadilov shared.
Deliveries under these contracts are expected partly this year and partly next year.
Arsen Zhumadilov added that cruise missiles are produced by more than one Ukrainian company.
The Defense Procurement Agency does not sign contracts for foreign-made cruise missiles.
Foreign missiles are supplied to Ukraine as part of international military aid.
For a long time, the only Ukrainian cruise missile in use was the Neptune, developed by the Luch Design Bureau.
During the full-scale war, Neptune has been repeatedly modernized and modified. Last year, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense presented a new, previously unknown version of the domestic cruise missile Neptune.
Subsequently, the Ukrainian winged missile Flamingo from Fire Point entered Ukraine’s arsenal.
Fire Point also recently conducted flight tests of the new FP-7 operational-tactical ballistic missile.
In 2025, the Ukrainian Sapsan operational-tactical missile system also entered serial production.
