Ukrainian company UBM has established mass production of ammunition for drones and presented it at the exhibition.
The company presented its products at the World Defense Show exhibition in Saudi Arabia, according to Militarnyi’s correspondent, who is working directly at the event.
UBM has developed a wide range of fragmentation and cumulative ammunition for drones designed to destroy infantry and lightly armored vehicles.
The ammunition is compatible with a wide range of drone platforms and is initiated by precision electromechanical systems.
After detonation, fragments of the explosion scatter, causing additional damage to the target and nearby objects.
The company has also developed incendiary ammunition for destroying flammable shelters and objects.
They are suitable for setting fire to wooden structures, fuel and ammunition depots, dry forests, and other flammable objects and surfaces.
The exhibition also featured a warhead for powerful kamikaze drones. It is claimed to be capable of hitting highly protected targets, including concrete fortifications.
In addition, the company manufactures remote-deployment anti-transport mines. They strike vehicles using a combination of a cumulative charge, an explosively formed penetrating element, a shock wave, and fragmentation.
“These mines are capable of striking the lower part of the vehicle’s body and disabling its running gear,” the company said.
The mines are currently undergoing prototype testing to ensure maximum effectiveness and reliability in real combat conditions.
Ukraine has become a leader in the development of ammunition for drones. Back in 2024, Ukraine developed the EFP-S ammunition for FPV drones, which is capable of penetrating armored vehicles.
