The Company “Ukrainian Armor” has established the production of 120mm mortar rounds.

The company stated that production was set up together with two NATO member states.

New 120mm mortar rounds are already entering the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“The Defense Forces of Ukraine are already receiving thousands of new mortar rounds,” representatives of the enterprise said.

120mm mortar rounds are today one of the most common types of artillery weapons in the Ukrainian army.

“Mortar rounds are made using modern technologies and fully meet NATO standards,” the company added.

International cooperation and the production facilities’ dispersion helped the company increase monthly volumes of supplies of this ammunition.

The State Concern Ukroboronprom reported on the manufacture of 120mm mortar rounds in February 2023, but did not disclose information about the manufacturer.

In April 2023, it became known that the Ukrainian military was receiving new OF-843B 120mm high-explosive mortar rounds.

It is stated that this ammunition is guaranteed to hit enemy infantry within a radius of 25 m to 60 m, and the spread of fragments can reach 250 m.

In addition, the 120mm mortar rounds are capable of destroying engineering structures and lightly armored vehicles.

Recall that recently the Security Service of Ukraine exposed entrepreneurs who delivered defective artillery rounds to the Armed Forces under a contract for UAH 270 million.
