In occupied Selydove, a Ukrainian Air Force aircraft struck a high-rise building reportedly housing Russian forces.
The Sonyashnyk Telegram channel, linked to Ukrainian military aviation, published the airstrike footage.
According to a military analyst, Dead District, the strike was performed using a French-made AASM Hammer guided bomb.
This type of bomb has been adapted in Ukraine for use with MiG-29, Su-27, and Su-25 aircraft.
The AASM is a precision guidance kit for general-purpose bombs, similar to the U.S.-made JDAM.
It includes a guidance unit and control fins in the front, along with a rear-mounted rocket booster to increase range.
France operates two main versions of the AASM: the Hammer-250 for Mk. 82 bombs (227 kg) and the Hammer-1000 for Mk. 84 bombs (908 kg).
The Ukrainian Air Force now uses these bombs to target buildings occupied by Russian forces.
Selydove currently serves as a military hub for Russian troops launching assaults in the Pokrovsk sector.
Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk direction have intensified, reaching some of the highest levels along the entire front line.
“It’s been quite intense all week. The high intensity of attacks has resumed and is now among the highest not only in our area of responsibility but across the entire front,” Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the Khortytsia operational-strategic group, reported.
