The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has received a large batch of equipment from partners within the IT Coalition.

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported on this.

The equipment was financed by the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Its total cost was about €7.5 million.

“With this equipment, we will increase the capabilities of the Defense Forces and will be able to implement digitalization in the Ukrainian army faster,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digitalization.

She also thanked the countries that are members of the IT Coalition for strengthening the resilience of the Ministry of Defence’s infrastructure.

This time, the partners provided the Ministry of Defence with server and network equipment for data centers, charging stations, communication equipment and information display panels.

This is the second delivery from the IT Coalition in 2025. In January, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg donated equipment worth €3.3 million to Ukraine as part of the initiative.

In December, the Estonian Ministry of Defence reported that the IT Coalition had accumulated almost €500 million in its first year.

During the year, the coalition member countries provided bilateral assistance in the IT sector worth €410 million, and €72 million were raised for joint procurement.

In addition to co-leading the coalition with Luxembourg, in 2024 Estonia contributed €2.5 million to the coalition to support Ukraine’s mobilization system. In 2025, Estonia will contribute €5 million to the IT Coalition.

The International IT Coalition is one of the capability coalitions organized within the framework of the Ramstein Contact Group on Ukraine’s defense. It supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defence in the areas of IT, communications and cybersecurity.

The coalition currently includes Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden and Japan. The coalition leaders are Estonia and Luxembourg.
