Negotiations between delegations from Ukraine and the United States took place in Saudi Arabia, during which the White House agreed to lift the pause on intelligence sharing and military assistance.

This was announced on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

Ukraine has expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire.

This ceasefire can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, provided it is accepted and simultaneously implemented by the Russian Federation.

The United States emphasized that reciprocity from Russia is a key condition for peace and will convey this position to the Russian side.

Additionally, during the talks, the United States announced the immediate lifting of the pause on intelligence sharing and the resumption of security assistance to Ukraine.

Recently, U.S. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz stated that unblocking military aid is possible only if peace talks with Russia begin.

The delegation paid special attention to humanitarian issues as an important component of the peace process.

In particular, a POW exchange is planned during the ceasefire.

Additionally, discussions included the release of illegally detained civilians and the return of forcibly displaced Ukrainian children.

The parties agreed to form negotiation teams and immediately begin consultations to achieve a sustainable peace that guarantees Ukraine’s long-term security.

The United States pledged to convey these proposals to the Russian side, and the Ukrainian delegation reiterated the need to involve European partners in the peace process.
