Three Su-30SM multirole fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces entered the airspace of Belarus.

Belarusian analysts from the “Belarusian Gayun” project reported that Russian fighters landed at the Baranovichi airfield.

The last flights of Russian fighters between Russia and Belarus were at the end of March 2022.

A small part of the aircraft that remained at the Baranovichi and Lida airfields is used to train the Russian Aerospace Forces new pilots.

In October 2022, the shipment of the second batch of Su-30SM fighters to Belarus was expected.

The airfighters that flew to Belarus are in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces. They have registration numbers RF-81772, RF-81760 and RF-81758.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the invaders used the territory of Belarus for offensives and strikes. At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko constantly repeats that his army will not attack Ukraine. He justifies the provision of his territory for the needs of the Russian army “by the need to protect the country from the West.”

After Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the mobilization of Russian servicemen from the military reserve, information appeared that venues were being prepared in Belarus to accommodate 20,000 people mobilized in Russia.

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, said that in the event of a new offensive from the territory of Belarus, the invaders will receive a response from Ukraine that they do not expect.

“We understand that Putin puts pressure on Lukashenko every day to start armed aggression on the part of Belarus. We know everything. Even the recent meeting in Sochi was on this topic,” Danilov said.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine does not believe that Lukashenko will make such a decision.

“But if troops are sent from the side of Belarus, as was the case on February 24, they will receive a response they did not expect,” he added.
