The Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eastern direction captured a number of tanks of various modifications of the Russian army.

Ukrainian politician Yuriy Mysyagin said that one of the detachments of the 93rd Brigade captured Russian tanks.

Soldiers of the brigade captured two damaged Russian Т-72B3M and Т-80BVM tanks.

It is indicated that the tanks will either be restored and continue service in the brigade, or they will be used for the necessary spare parts.

The T-72B3 modification was developed as a mass and economic alternative to the Т-90А MBT for the Russian Army.

Among the disadvantages of the Т-80BVM against Т-72 tankers mention relatively weak visibility. The tank has three triplexes, visibility is partially overlapped by reactive armor components.

The T-80U tank was adopted by the Soviet Armed Forces in 1985.
