The “Help Heroes of Ukraine” Charity Organization purchased 100 pickup trucks for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Together with the Lviv Regional Military Administration, 14 vehicles were already handed over to the defenders of Ukraine.

“Help Heroes of Ukraine” was founded by the Ukrainians from Chicago at the beginning of the full-scale war.

“Quick transportation is vital for the Ukrainian heroes. It is an extremely important aspect of conducting successful combat operations. An improved cross-country ability is a special feature of pickups, as well as the possibility of evacuating injured people from the frontline,” the post reads.

As reported by Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the total value of one hundred purchased vehicles is $ 1 million.

They will be shipped gradually because the cars would first be transported from the USA to Ukraine by sea and then by land – the whole process would take up to four weeks.

Maksym Kozytskyi brought attention to the fact that the “Help Heroes of Ukraine” Charity Organization signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, it works with the official requests and has a license to do so.

It allows the purchase and export of dual-purpose goods from the United States to Ukraine.

“During this time, we helped our compatriots to the tune of $15 million – we purchased bulletproof vests and helmets, optical devices and military equipment, vehicles, and drones. About 10,000 Ukrainian defenders have been equipped!”, Kozytskyi wrote.

The “Help Heroes of Ukraine” Charity Organization thanked the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, as well as all benefactors from the USA, for their cooperation.

In response, Kozytskyi thanked “Help Heroes of Ukraine” for their daily work and significant assistance to Ukrainians, as well as the entire Ukrainian diaspora in the USA, Canada, and other parts of the world.

As previously reported, in September 2022, the Come Back Alive Foundation purchased 104 new pickup trucks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
