Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered and attacked a Russian military observation post.
Militarnyi informs about this with reference to the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Such observation posts are important objects since they are the obstacles in the way of the Ukrainian servicemen.
To have the safe passage, the Ukrainian soldiers are performing tasks beforehand for the destruction of these objects.
Thus, the Russian servicemen were neutralized at the position of the invaders.
The seized documents indicate that they were issued by the “Military Commissariat of the Republic of Crimea.”
During the operation on eliminating the position of the Russians, soldiers of the Special Operations Forces were using the Malyuk assault rifles.
In 2005, the Artillery Armament Design Bureau started designing a new assault rifle, initially called the Vulkan-M. Its construction was based on the company’s previous developments, namely the Vepr and the Vulkan.
In fact, the new Malyuk assault rifle is essentially a bullpup AK-74M with a polymer encasing (in which the trigger is moved forward and is located in front of the magazine and trigger guard).
Specification of the Malyuk assault rifle:
The rifle was equipped with three Picatinny bars – for the installation of additional optical and mechanical devices, including sights, handles, bipods, and more.
Malyuk is also equipped with a quick-release silencer. Magazines of the Kalashnikov rifles are inserted into a special shaft of the magazine, which assists in better fixing them, as well as facilitates its better fit.
